Florida 2008

It was the first week of March and there was snow still on the ground. My family was in the car on our way to the Minneapolis airport. We parked on ramp 2F gold on the parking ramp. It was freezing outside and we were all wearing long pants and warm sweatshirts. Everyone grabbed their suitcases and we entered the airport. It was very, very busy inside. There were so many people and lots of security guards.

Our first stop was to drop off our suitcases that we wouldn't bring on the airplane with us. We waited in a long line. After that we had to go through security to get to our plane. Another long line. It was pretty hectic, but we all got through. Finally we got to the waiting area. As you can see, there was a lot more waiting. We sat down in the chairs and watched the other planes take off and land.

Finally, the flight attendant announced in a monotone voice, " All of the passengers in row 25D may now board the plane." We all jumped out of our seats and gave the attendant our tickets. Everyone was filled with excitement as we boarded the plane. Goodbye Minnesota. Florida, here we come. :)

  2. That sounds just like my airport experience lots of waiting. Something you could change to make this better would be how the flight was.
